Stan Collesano

Stan Collesano brings a unique and diverse background to the world of IT Mergers & Acquisitions and to Excendio’s clients, and a 25-year track record as a corporate and transaction attorney, a strategic and financial advisor to lower middle market organizations and more recently as a tech entrepreneur.

During his 15 years as an attorney, Stan practiced in the areas of Business and Corporate law, handling corporate formation, negotiation, transactional and litigation matters, along with specialized Insurance Defense for clients such as General Motors, Dunlop Tire Corporation, Pepsi, and many major insurance companies.  During his legal career, he has represented both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions.

Later, as a Business Consultant and Coach, merging his law and accounting degrees he advised executives and small to medium size companies ranging from $1 million to $50 million in revenue. As part of his consulting services, Stan provided detailed evaluations and recommendations for new business ventures as well as performed compressive due diligence review and analysis to prepare companies for M&A transactions.

As a tech entrepreneur, he has founded, developed, and launched an insurance-based consumer website/App and a financial-based software for businesses.

Stan received his BS in Accounting from Canisius University, Buffalo, NY and law degree from Western Michigan School of Law, Lansing, MI. Stan servers as Co-Chair of the Small Business Advisory Council for the Cyber Readiness Institute.

Stan is married and has three children. Having been a collegiate cross-country and track athlete, he continues to pursue his love of running and has coached runners for over 30 years.
